Chardonnay

“Lovely notes of nectarine and honeydew melons ”

Wine Making Notes

To avoid any harsh phenolics, each parcel of Chardonnay was carefully pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures to retain the freshness and purity of the fruit. The juice was inoculated with individual strains of yeast to add wine structure, mouth feel and complexity. Addition of fine grained French oak aids during fermentation helped create an integrated oak profile.

Nose

Emanating fresh, crisp notes of lemon, guava, nectarine and melons, complemented by cashew notes.

Palate

Lovely notes of nectarine and honeydew melons, with the crisp acidity of lemons, providing a lingering length of fruit and integrated oak characteristics of cashew nut and nougat.
