Warm and dry conditions were the
highlight of March and April. This Merlot parcel is from a site in Northern Margaret River. The vineyards are on sandy loam and ironstone soils, which enhance the dark fruit flavours. The wine was pressed off skins and matured using French oak for 12-15 months
Lifted aromas of cherries and satsuma, vanilla and milk chocolate notes, with a hint of thyme
Dark plum palate with herbal notes. Integrated cedar, mocha and vanilla oak characters, are complemented by structured, ripe tannins on the finish.
Slow cooked lamb ragu fettuccini with garlic, silverbeet and rosemary.
Contains Sulphites. Fined with the aid of fish and skim milk products. Traces may remain.
